Construction and Building Materials
Waterproof materials: Used as moisture-proof films or waterproof rolls on roofs, basements, bathrooms, etc., featuring weather resistance and the ability to adapt to substrate deformation.
Decorative films/adhesive films: Used as vacuum forming films for surface packaging of furniture, doors and windows, cabinets, etc., with rich colors and easy molding, accounting for about 60% of PVC film applications.
Flooring and wall panels: Soft PVC is used for floor leather and wall coverings, with anti-slip, wear-resistant, and easy-to-clean properties.
Packaging
Food packaging: Transparent soft PVC film is used for candy and pastry shrink packaging, fresh fruit and vegetable preservation (must meet food contact standards and avoid harmful plasticizers such as DEHP).
Industrial packaging: PVC stretch film is used for bundling and fixing wires, cables, pipes, mechanical equipment, etc., relying on static self-adhesion (but gradually being replaced by PE due to environmental and cost issues).
Labels and shrink films: PVC heat shrink film accounts for 15%~20% of the label market, used for beverage bottles and cosmetic bottle labels.
Vacuum metallized PVC film: Used for high-end candy twist packaging and bottle sealing sleeves, supporting laser printing and pearlescent effects.
Agricultural Applications
Agricultural films: Used for greenhouse covering, with good light transmittance and strong heat retention; color masterbatches can be added to make colored ground films.
Irrigation and covering: Soft PVC pipes are used for field irrigation, or as seedling trays and plant root protection sleeves.
Medical and Health
Medical consumables: Infusion bags, blood bags, catheters, feeding tubes, etc., must pass biocompatibility tests (no cytotoxicity or sensitization).
Protective supplies: Disposable PVC examination gloves, medical aprons, shoe covers, with water-proof, stain-proof, and acid and alkali resistant properties.
